Reservation deposit and balance payments

To secure a booking, a deposit of between £80 and £150 will be required, and payable within 7 days of making a reservation. Deposit can be made by cheque, bank draft, bank transfer, or via PayPal (there is a small charge for using this facility). Reservations are not held without a deposit.

Balance to be paid 1 month in advance by cheque, bank draft, bank transfer, or via PayPal (there is a charge for using this facility) or cash on arrival. 


Renting both Tarante & Calceto

A maximum of 6 adults, can be accommodated in both apartments rented together. Reservation deposit either £80/£150 per apartment. 

Balance to be paid 1 month in advance by cheque, bank draft, bank transfer, or via PayPal (there is a charge for using this facility) or cash on arrival. Total payable to secure reservation £160, or £300. Reservations are not held without a deposit payment.


Payment

Payment can be made in advance by cheque or bank draft- made payable to Mrs. J. Johnstone, by electronic bank transfer BACS, 

or via PayPal www.paypal.co.uk - account jo@portreeves.co.uk (there is an extra charge for this facility) 

If you have not used PayPal before, it is an online bank. You will need to open an account - it is free & very easy to set up.

Payment can not be made upon arrival by card or cheque.

Last minute bookings made within 7 days of arrival a full payment of a night stay must be paid in advance via PayPal or bank transfer. The balance (if applicable) can be paid upon arrival in cash. Should a reservation be made within 7 days of arrival, & no deposit taken, the booking may only be held until 5pm. on day of arrival.


Contact Details

Contact address & phone number will be required to confirm a booking. As part of our privacy policy all contact details provided are only used in the administration of your reservation and not used for any marketing purposes, nor passed to any other organisations,


Check-in

We are on-site and available for arrivals between 4 and 10pm. However should you wish to check-in earlier, we will do our best to accommodate your request. After 11.30am. incoming guests are welcome to park if arriving early and the apartment is not ready for occupation.

Departure
Check-out is 10.30am.  A later check-out of 12 noon. maybe negotiated with prior arrangement, and subject to availability.


Self catering guests are requested to bag all rubbish, bin bags are provided, and place in exterior dustbins.  All clean recyclable waste can removed to dedicated recycling bin, and take any unused food away. Please ensure that crockery, cutlery, glassware and cooking utensils are thoroughly washed in hot water & the kitchen surfaces are left clean & tidy. Please leave the windows and internal doors open to allow ventilation, but ensure all external doors are locked and the apartment is secure.


Should you prefer not to clean, we can offer a cleaning service for an additional fee of £40.


Portreeves is a no-smoking establishment, any guest found to be smoking in their rooms would be charged £50 to facilitate specialist cleaning. Smoking is permitted in the outside areas.


Dogs

Dogs are welcome in both apartments with prior agreement. We ask that if there is any possibility they may become distressed they are not left alone, & that they are not allowed upon the furniture, nor in the bedrooms.


Owners are requested to pick up any fouling in the gardens. Due to allergies, cats are not permitted upon the premises. There is an additional charge of £5 per night, per dog, which is capped at £35 for 7nights or more. We can accommodate 2 small to medium sized dogs, or 1 giant breed. Dog bowl and towels are provided.


Cancellations and reservation amendments

The guest can cancel free of charge within 7 days of making a reservation. Otherwise guests  can cancel until 30 days before arrival and receive a refund of their payment, minus an admin charge of £20.

 

If the guest cancels the booking within 30 days of arrival, and we succeed in re-letting all nights booked we will refund all monies received minus the admin fee. 


If we are unable to re-let then any payments are not refundable. If this is a concern we recommend the purchase of travel insurance. 

If the guest vacates early, and we are able to re-let all nights booked we will refund any payment paid for the nights not stayed*.

If we are unable to re-let then the balance is not refundable. If this is a concern we recommend the purchase of travel insurance. *prices for shorter stays will apply.


If on arrival the guest wishes to change the booking for less number of nights, full payment for all nights originally booked is still payable or we reserve the right to terminate your entire booking, without any refund of any monies paid. If we are able to re-let all nights booked we will refund any payment made for the nights not stayed*. If we are unable to re-let then the balance is not refundable. If this is a concern we recommend the purchase of travel insurance. *prices for shorter stays will apply.


If prior to arrival the guest wishes to amend the booking for less number of nights, prices for shorter stays will apply, some dates incur a minimum stay & will be charged accordingly. 


If changes are made 30 days in advance of arrival, & new charges are not satisfactory, the guest can cancel the booking & we will refund all monies received, minus the £20 admin fee.


If balance payment for all booked dates is not paid in advance nor on arrival, accommodation is only held up-to the value of the deposit paid. 

Guests who fail to arrive, & do not cancel booking will be invoiced for full amount of dates booked.

If for any reasons beyond our control we have to cancel arrangements all monies will be returned to you in full. We accept no further liability.


Force Majeure and enforced national or regional travel restrictions
If travel restrictions affect the whole of the UK, or West Sussex, then full refund of would be given. If the restrictions are localised to your area, we would offer a full refund if we are able to re-let, or credit your payment towards a future stay. The offer is valid for 12 months, and subject to availability & minimum night stay policy for requested dates.


Liabilities

Off street parking is available, please note cars are parked at owners own risk. The management do not accept liability for cars or their contents.

We accept no liability for any loss, injury or damage suffered by you, or any member of your family, or guests, during your stay.

We accept no responsibility for property left on the premises. Customers contents are not insured by us and personal contents insurance is recommended.
