Arundel is situated between The South Downs, and Sussex Coast. ideally located to explore the Arun Valley.

With some of the longest sunshine hours in Britain, it is worth visiting the coast. Just 4 miles away, the family friendly beach at Littlehampton has everything for a fun, safe day at the seaside. For a quieter beach experience explore the local village beaches. Interested in water sports, head for the sandy Witterings beaches, or Chichester Water Centre and Aqua Park.

Arundel Castle, and other Historic Houses and gardens.

Up on the hill overlooking the town is the ancient Arundel Castle. Open April to Nov. The castle and The Collector Earl´s Garden holds many special events throughout the year, including international jousting (July), Open Air Shakespeare (August), and a Tulip Festival (April/May).


A short drive from Arundel discover the beautiful country estates of Petworth House and Parham Park and a huge variety of inspiring Sussex gardens.
