our local Coop is only a few
mins. walk from Portreeves
& open until 10pm 7days a week, self catering guests may prefer a breakfast welcome pack, to be provided. Welcome packs can be arranged
for £15 for 2 or £25 for 3-5 people, & must be ordered in advance
of
arrival. Daily
housekeeping for self catering guests -
£10pn. Not available as a one off- end of stay clean, & must be
arranged in

TERMS &
CONDITIONS RESERVATION DEPOSIT &
SELF
CATERING SECURITY DEPOSIT For Bed and Breakfast and family suite for 1
or 2 nights
- £40/£50 deposit to secure booking is required, the balance to be paid
upon
arrival, in cash or by cheque with a valid guarantee card able to cover
the
whole amount, or mix of cash & cheque. For Short Breaks
self-catering
bookings - £50/£100 deposit to secure the
booking is required, with balance to be paid 3 weeks in advance by
cheque, or
on arrival with cash, or cheque with a valid guarantee card able to
cover the
whole amount, or a mix of cash & cheque. In addition to the
reservation
deposit, we require a refundable security deposit
of £30 to be paid with deposit & returned by
cheque upon
departure. Any damages, breakages, loss of keys, or excess cleaning
charge will
be deducted from this deposit. Total payable to secure reservation
£80/£130. For Week lets SC. - £100 deposit to secure the booking is required, with the balance to be paid 1 month in advance by cheque or cash on arrival. In addition to the reservation deposit, we also require a refundable security deposit of £30 to be paid with deposit & returned by cheque upon departure. Any damages, breakages, loss of keys, or excess cleaning charge will be deducted from this deposit. Total payable to secure reservation £130. For longer
stays of a month or more a £200 deposit is required, & balance
payment can
be made in advance, or on arrival, or by special arrangement on a
weekly or
monthly basis. A £200 security deposit is required & held for
duration of
stay. Any damages, breakages or excess cleaning charge will be deducted
from
this deposit, as well as the cancellation of any booked nights not paid
for. Renting both Tarante
& Calceto – A maximum of 6 adults, & 1 child & 1
infant or 2
infants can be accommodated in both apartments rented together, &
only 1
kitchen will be available for use. Reservation deposit either £50 or
£100 per
apartment plus refundable security deposit
of £60, returned by cheque upon departure. Any damages, breakages,
loss of
keys, or excess cleaning charge will be deducted from this deposit.
Balance to
be paid 1 month in advance by cheque or cash on arrival. Total payable
to
secure reservation £160, or £260. All deposits to
secure bookings are payable within 7 days of making
the booking.
Reservations are not held without a deposit payment. PAYMENT Payment can be made in advance by CHEQUE or BANK DRAFT- made payable to Mrs. J. Johnstone, or by credit/debit card through Paypal www.paypal.co.uk - account portreeves@fsmail.net (there is an extra charge for this facility) If you have not used Paypal before, it is an online bank. You will need to open an account - it is free & very easy to set up. Follow the instructions at www.paypal.co.uk. All payments are secure & our account to make the payment to is our email address portreeves@fsmail.net Please make CHEQUE or BANK DRAFT payments to J.JOHNSTONE & send to: Portreeves.
The Causeway, Arundel. N.B. PAYMENT CAN NOT BE MADE UPON ARRIVAL BY CARD. Payment can be made on arrival with cash or cheque up to the value of a valid guarantee card, or a mix of cash & cheque. For last minute bookings made within 7 days of arrival a full payment of a night stay must be paid in advance via PayPal (no charge applied). The balance (if applicable) to be paid upon arrival in cash or cheque with valid cheque guarantee card. Should a reservation be made within 7 days of arrival, & no deposit taken, the booking may only be held until 5pm. on day of arrival. CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT Check in from 4pm, check
out by 10.30am. However should you wish
to arrive
earlier, we will do our best to accommodate your request. Should you
wish to
arrive before 2pm. if available, we recommend booking the night before
as well. CLEANING & DISPOSAL
OF RUBBISH It
is expected that self catering guests
should dispose
of all rubbish & leave apartments clean & tidy upon departure.
Should
you prefer not to clean the apartment, we can offer a cleaning
service for an
additional fee of £30. Portreeves
is a no-smoking establishment, any guest found to be smoking
in their
rooms would be charged £30 to facilitate specialist cleaning. DOGS Dogs are welcome in Tarante, with prior agreement. We ask that they are not left alone in the apartment, & that they are not allowed upon the furniture. Owners are requested to pick up any fouling in the gardens. A refundable security deposit of £50 is required, payable with reservation deposit payment. Any damages or excessive cleaning will be deducted for the security deposit. Pets are not permitted in Calceto. Due to allergies, cats are not permitted upon the premises. CANCELLATIONS If
you have to cancel the booking, we will do our best to re-let
the
suite/apartment. If we succeed in re-letting all nights booked we will
refund
all monies received. If we are unable to re-let then the
deposit/balance
&/or security deposit (if cancelled within 1 month of booked date)
is not
refundable. If this is a concern to you we recommend the purchase of
travel
insurance. If
you decide to vacate early, we will do our best to re-let the
suite/apartment.
If we succeed in re-letting all nights booked we will refund any
payment paid
for the nights not stayed*. If we are unable to re-let then the balance
is not
refundable. If this is a concern to you we recommend the purchase of
travel insurance.
*prices for shorter stays will apply. If
on arrival you decide to change your booking for less number of nights,
full
payment for all nights originally booked is still payable or we reserve
the
right to terminate your entire booking, without any refund of any
monies paid.
Once again we will do our best to re-let the suite/apartment. If we
succeed in
re-letting all nights booked we will refund any payment paid for the
nights not
stayed*. If we are unable to re-let then the balance is not refundable.
If this
is a concern to you we recommend the purchase of travel insurance.

prices for shorter stays will apply, N.B. some dates incur a minimum
stay &
will be charged accordingly. If changes are made a month or more in
advance of
arrival, & new charges are not satisfactory, you can cancel your
booking
& we will refund all monies received. If you decide to cancel your

within a month of arrival we will do our best to re-let the
suite/apartment. If
we succeed in re-letting all nights booked we will refund all monies
received.
If we are unable to re-let then the deposit/balance &/or security
deposit
is not refundable. If this is a concern to you we recommend the
purchase of
travel insurance. If
payment for booked dates is not paid in advance of/or on arrival,
accommodation
is only held for the first night or second night dependant upon amount
of
deposit paid. Guests who fail to arrive, & do not cancel booking
will be
invoiced for full amount of dates booked. If
for any reasons beyond our control we have to cancel arrangements all
monies
will be returned to you in full. We accept no further liability. LIABILITIES Off street parking is available, please note cars are parked at owners own risk. The management do not accept liability for cars or their contents. We accept no liability for any loss, injury or damage suffered by you, or any member of your family, or guests, during your stay. We accept no
responsibility for
property left on the premises. No contents are insured by us in the
apartments.
Personal contents insurance is recommended. |
